Men love cars. Why? Because they're part of them. Men talk about their cars as if talking about themselves. Except from gadgets and electronics, motor bike and cars are one men's baby. As to women, they love clothes, shoes, bags and accessories. Women are more comfortable expressing their feelings directly and see the car as separate. And women give names to their cars. As Peter Marsh, one of the author of The Secret Life of Cars and What They Reveal About Us, said that the attachment of men to their cars was often translated into feelings of annoyance at the threat, or potential, of someone damaging the vehicles. And as the survey shows that men love their car more than their wife. Men... I know your nodding there. LOL. Yes! 3% of male drivers would consider giving up their wife or partner rather than their car. And in UK's biggest dedicated monitoring panel show that drivers are still very dependent on their cars, 2 % of women would also consider ditching their husband or boyfriend rather than their car.

Why men are so attached to it? A study revealed that cars feeds into their mans need for possession and the sense of belongingness and acceptance. If you'll observe, men are very confident when it comes to cars topic. They can speak and talk confidently to other men openly about their cars. It is that topic that engages men into conversation. And some men are investing cars. Men have the highest number of visitors in online blogs of cars and asks the most number of inquiries about car sales and car models.

Take a look at this one. A fuchsia Rodster Street Rod Pickup Truck. Yeah! I know its hot, hot, hot. One of my girl friend own this. Trucks are commonly used for carrying goods and materials. As long as your comfortable and serving the purpose of hauling goods and materials, then you are regarded as a truck driver. But their are lots of people overlook truck driver jobs. They Think that it is not noble or the payment is not enough to compensate the effort needed to accomplished them. But to my friend, the pick up truck and being a driver of it, is a wonderful experience. But for others who aren't used to trucks, the experience of owning a pickup often turns out to be anything from a major annoyance to an endless nightmare.

These cards permits its users to borrow money or buy goods and services on credit up and pre-spending limit.

How can you apply for a credit card? Do you think it's so easy to get it? Many bank companies are so clever enough to know about the person who's applying for a credit card. In applying credit card you must be at least 21 years of age; with a minimum fixed monthly income; you must have a business or landline number; and if you are a foreigner, you must be a permanent resident and you should include a photocopy of the Alien Certificate of Registration and work permit; and fill out the documents require like ITR (Income Tax Refund), Certificate of Employment, previous month's pay slip and etc. After you've done these, wait for their call. A Big Fan Of Hip-Hop Music And Artist

Last time I share to guys the article about the winning of the Jabbawockeez. The Hip-Hop group won in the last season of the Randy Jackson: America's Best Dance Crew. The nice thing about hip hop is the music they made. The fast beat and the rhythm that surely people gonna enjoy. But not only the music symbolized hip-hop. One thing I noticed is the clothes, bling blings, fabulous cribs from the well-known artist and the hot flashing cars.

Yeah! I'm a big fan of R&B and Hip-Hop artist (wish to be one. LOL). Since I was in high school I really like music. Actually I appreciate all kind of music, from hip-hop, R&B, reggae, ballad, soul, pop, jazz, alternative to light rock. Except for heavy metal. I don't like banging my head and shouting. It's not really singing, your shouting like a stupid fool. Sorry guys, those who love hard core music, I'm just expressing my opinion here. As I was saying, in Hip Hop industry most artist are have a huge house and nice cars. If you are watching the MTV crib you know what I'm saying. On that show, they feature the cribs of the sports celebrities, but most of them are from the music industries. You'll see the big pool with a big fountain, inside the house there's you'll find the entertainment room, gym, and some celebrities have a basketball court, billiard hall and sauna bath. Oh! I forgot. When you walk inside their rooms, look for their closet. It's a huge closet full of signature clothes, shoes, cup and accessories like what I've seen on Mariah Carey's room and J.Lo.

The growing list of the hip-hop philanthropists includes P.Diddy (Sean Comb), Jay-Z, Ludacris, 50 Cent, Snoop Doog, Nelly and Kanye West. These people coming from the streets often have a profound insight into the impact their philanthropy can have, and so they are devoting their time as well their money to urban charities. Speaking of Diddy, I've read a article knowing that he wins his first TV actor trophy. Sean Combs is a music mogul, a producer, fashion designer (I'm using his product which is the Unforgivable perfume), and a multi-platinum Grammy winning artist. Diddy won as the "Best Actor In a Television Movie, Miniseries or Dramatic Special" in the 40th annual show and earned 2 NAACP awards for "Raisin".

Some people have a negative insight to the hip-hop genre and its related culture. But some artist explained that hip hop done something to the music industry like what Jay-Z said "It has changed America immensely... Hip-hop has done more than any leader, politician or anyone to improve race relations. Racism is taught in the home… and it’s very hard to teach racism to a teenager who idolizes, say, Snoop Dogg. It’s hard to say, ‘That guy is less than you.’ The kid is like, ‘I like that guy, he’s cool’. White people and all people love hip-hop too!"

Black people are known to Hip-hop industry but now even white like Eminem are into Rap/Hip-hop too. All the while, hip hop and rap music get more popular all over the world. Sure, some people would love to listen and have a hip hop lifestyle.

Holy Week: Vacation And Suffering

It's been 8 days since I went home, to my province, because of Holy Week. Hope to spent more time with my family and friends. But because of duty call, I have to return to my place. Well, same routine, for me it's so boring. I wake up early, go to office, after work I go home, eat while watching TV and sleep. I don't know how will it change.

So now, looking back when I'm in Bicol (my province) where you can find the Mayon Volcano which is known for having a perfect cone. So simple place, I love the fresh air and having a simple living there is what some people are looking for. Our home is near in sea area that's why when summer season the air is warm and I always feel sleepy (I don't like cold places). In those 8 days we spent there I'm so thankful 'coz the weather is fine, actually it's hot. But I love it, most of the time we're out. We went to this place called Kawa Kawa (shape like a big cooking pan), located above the hill. Actually it's sa sacred place. You'll see the Station Of The Cross, the statue is like a human size. Filipinos are know for being religious and Station of the Cross is one way to follow Jesus Christ in his passion and to see ourselves mirrored in him. That's why climbing up in the hill with the heat of the sun burning your skin is a courageous experienced, suffering a little will not kill you.

But after the vacation, I see myself in the Bus Terminal. What else, again, me and my sis have to take 12hrs for a road trip. Yeah! 12 long hours on the road. Nice thing because we enjoy the sounds inside the bus. Oh! I remember, while we're on our way to Manila, we get pissed off. Because one of the bus take over us, and the worst part is the smoke coming from the muffler is so dark and almost block our way. So the driver go to slow down. It takes almost 1 hour for us to get over with that smoke belching bus. I almost curse the bus owner because of not checking their property.

And now, we're heading to Manila, we see the skyscrapes buildings, busy people going to work and the loud noise of the cars. The only thing that I like it here in Manila is if you want to have fun. Everywhere you look cost a lot of money. The shopping malls, restaurant, beautiful houses, and a lot of modernize things you'll find it here. Thanks to the modern technology, like what most of the architect does, mechanical drawings help their job to make it easier and faster.

But for me, staying here is not really tough. I'm used to these place. I start loving it. With the liberated people and these crowded place, I'm gonna learn a lot and I must be clever enought to deal with these people.

Control Your Bad Habit

Why we can't stop our bad habit? Our life is habitual, the do the same thing yesterday or everyday for the last month. Good or bad habit will make you who you are. If you know how to control and change your bad habits, then even a small effort can create a big changes. A habit is any action that we performed and if we consider this habit to be undesirable the it will be a bad habit. Many people are spending to much money and time attempting to break their bad habits and often do not success. Changes is hard work and you must be patient enough because there is no short cut to achieving it.

Nail biting, nose picking, smoking, thumb sucking, and drinking are the common bad habits that we can't easily quit. Smokers are having a hard time to quit smoking. Some of the reason of these are innate human defiance, a need for social acceptance, the inability to truly understand the nature of risk, the ability to rationalize unhealthy habits and the genetic predisposition to addiction. Maybe you've tried to control yourself but do you think your over it? Some things haven't worked out as you hoped. Quitting can be the most difficult word for you and you know the reason why? Because quitting something is difficult when you always think about it, there's no excitement in just saying no and you never simply quit something, you do something else instead. Your bad habit takes time, you can make space for something new and exciting.

Smoking and drinking are ranked as the more dangerous bad habit because it can kill you or you can kill somebody. How? E.g. too much drinking can lead to car accident or a fight with somebody else. I know it's very tough to quit when you know that it's part of your lifestyle. But its time to make a choice or you'll die young. Which do you value more? Do you value more having a thousand of puff or having a pleasant life? Instead of smoking you can take a candy for a good substitute. You will be not only making an active choice to not do the old habit but you will also be making a choice to perform a better action. It's up to you. You should realize how important is good health. You will be forced to make a choice, whether a bad or good, about continuing your habit. What choice do you want to make? The one that makes you bad or the one that makes you feel better and feel good? If you really want to change don't complain, it takes time and eventually you'll no longer realizing it but you're totally over it.

On my previous articles I wrote about the great places I want to visit on a vacation and I feature too the different places that most tourist want to visit especially the Philippines who are known for having a lot of magnificent beaches. Jabba'wock'eez Rulez

Too early to write but I want to share what I feel last night while watching the finals of Randy Jackson: America's Best Dance Crew (March 30, 2009). With the remaining group which consist of Status Quo and Jabbawockeez. I knew that Jabbawockeez will win. From the very start I really like them. And most of the group are half Filipino. As I was saying, the performance was great. The dance was choreographed by Chuck Maldonado who did the Stomp the Yard. MTV rocks the floor when the best two remaining finalist do their show down. Fans were screaming and even us whos watch the show are like going gaga. LOL.

I really like Kid Rainen, so here is the Q&A with him..

Westword (Michael Roberts): Where are you from originally?

Rynan Paguio: I’m originally from San Diego, California. Well, I guess I’ve spent half my life in San Diego, California and half of it in Riverside, or in Murrieta, California.

WW: Have you been dancing for as long as you can remember?

RP: Yeah, pretty much. I started dancing at a really young age. I’d say I started doing B-boying or breakdancing at around eleven years old. And then I started getting into other styles of dance, as far as hip-hop choreography, at around seventeen or eighteen years old. So I’ve been doing it for a pretty long time.

WW: Did you ever have any formal training? Or did you pick up your moves from being a part of the scene?

RP: Really just being a part of the scene. I definitely was influenced by movies that I watched, like Beat Street from back in the ‘80s, Breakin’, Wild Style. A lot of those movies really influenced the dances that I do. I started off as a B-boy, as a breakdancer, so that was my biggest influence. And from there, I just kept going at it, and I didn’t really get into choreography dancing until I was seventeen, eighteen and I got into this group called Culture Shock San Diego. I got influenced through a lot of dancers in that realm, and also other dancers like Mindtricks, which I guess you could say was the first crew before JabbaWockeeZ. I got influenced through that just from the hip-hop choreography. But no real formal training as far as learning from jazz teachers or anything like that. Everything came from the hip-hop scene, going to hip-hop events.

WW: Did you first get started in San Diego or in Riverside?

RP: I first started learning how to B-boy and breakdance when I was living in Riverside – and Murrieta, there was really nothing there. It was pretty much cows (laughs). There was nothing going on there, especially when you compare it to San Diego, which is a real city with a lot of people who did that kind of dancing: breaking and house dancing. Living in Murrieta, there wasn’t a lot for me to do except practice, and to watch videos of dancers like the Rock Steady Crew, Crazy Legs and Ken Swift. Watching people on videos like the Air Force Crew, Lil Caesar. Even dancers from Europe like Battle Squad, Storm and everybody.

That’s pretty much all I did. I watched those videos and went in my garage and practiced. And later, I went back and forth to San Diego, because a lot of my cousins lived out there – and also, a lot of them were breaking at the time. I just got affiliated with a lot of different crews in San Diego. And at that young age, I was having older people picking me up and taking me to hip-hop events in San Diego. And also, my brothers would come with me. My brothers were a lot older than me, and it’d be late, so my brothers would come with me. And pretty much after I graduated, I moved to San Diego to start my dancing career. From then on, I was in San Diego, dancing for San Diego Culture Shock, doing little jobs here and there, working for Sea World…

WW: What did you do at Sea World?

RP: I did a bunch of different dance shows.

WW: No feeding killer whales?

RP: No, no way (laughs). All I did was I got to pet Shamu. That’s about it. And after that, I started dancing professionally in L.A. – making the commute from San Diego to L.A. for about eight, nine years. And within that time as well, I got affiliated with the JabbaWockeeZ crew, which my friends Kevin Brewer and Joe Larot started. I was pretty much one of the six original members that started the crew.

WW: Was the scene there really diverse? Were people from every kind of ethnic background accepted as long as they could dance?

RP: Oh yeah, definitely. The great thing about hip-hop dance, and dance and general, is there’s no boundaries. It doesn’t matter what your race or creed are. It just matters what your skill is. And the main thing about hip-hop and about B-boying, it’s about turning a negative into a positive. A lot of time growing up, you’d have battles that would happen and a lot of people would think, “Oh my gosh! They’re fighting! They’re fighting!” But really what we’re doing is confronting each other with different dance moves. And then at the end of the battle, it’s like, “Let’s go out to eat and chill out and talk about each other’s style.” You know what I mean? Kind of congratulate each other about the moves that we have. Like, “Oh my gosh, you did this on me. That was freakin’ awesome. Can you teach that to me?”

It’s always been like that, at every event. Ever since I started dancing, ever since I started learning how to break, the scene was very diverse. There was never any hatred going on. I guess the only type of negativity that would go on, which really isn’t that negative, is like, “Oh, that guy’s doing your move. Battle that guy.” But after a battle, it never escalated further than that. When the dancing first started, that’s what it was about. You had a lot of gangs killing each other in New York. And then a lot of the younger kids, they didn’t want to be involved in that. What they wanted to do was turn a negative into a positive and just dance.

WW: Over the years, have you sustained any major injuries? Break bones or anything like that?

RP: Definitely a lot of sore muscles, a lot of muscle pain. Pulled groins, pulled muscles. But as I got older – right now, I’m 27 years old – and I tore my meniscus on my knee and I had to get surgery on it.

WW: So you’re doing this tour after tearing your meniscus?

RP: This is what happened. A lot of dancers will get injured, but you still dance on it – and you make it seem like it’s normal. Like, for me, with my torn meniscus, I felt like my knee was still okay. And I had it for years. I had it when I was in my teen years – not knowing that I’d torn my meniscus, but just thinking that sometimes my knee gets a little sore. But as I got older, my knee would actually lock up – and once I’d straighten it out, my knee would pop back into place, and it’d feel like it was normal, even though it wasn’t. What a doctor told me was, my meniscus was torn, and when I’d dance, sometimes it would actually overlap itself so it’d get locked. When I’d stretch it out, it would go back into place, but it was still torn, and it would tear more and more and more.

I guess this was about three-and-a-half months ago: I went to this breaking event, just a local event, to have a good time. It happened with my knee again, and I thought I could straighten it out, but I couldn’t. And the doctor ended up telling me my meniscus was pretty bad, so they had to take it out. And I’m lucky it wasn’t an ACL tear. If it’d been an ACL tear, it would’ve taken six or seven months to heal. So, anyhow, the doctor told me I still need to have reconstructive surgery, but if I keep taking care of myself as far as stretching out, working my knee out, I won’t need it for a couple of years. So I try to take care of my body as much as I possibly can.

WW: So let me make sure I understand… You’re doing this tour without a meniscus in one knee?

RP: Yeah, pretty much. But that’s the way it is with a lot of dancers. A lot of dancers don’t have reconstructive surgery for years because they take care of their bodies. If I was just to dance without stretching out, without eating right, just keep on pounding my body without trying to take care of it, I’m pretty sure I’d have to have reconstructive surgery within six months. But I know a lot of people who have this who’ve been really helping me know how to take care of my body, take care of my knee.

WW: JabbaWockeeZ got together back in about 2003, right?

RP: Yeah, that’s right.

WW: Back then, did anyone think you could make a living from it? Or did you guys look at it like, we may make a few dollars here and there, but this is mostly for fun – it’s not a career?

RP: The funny thing was, we all knew each other before 2003. We all met back in 1998, 1999, through different hip-hop events, and we were in different crews. During that time, I was working as a professional dancer in L.A., and a couple of the other guys were, too. But the six members who were in the crew were Kevin and Joe, who were the first guys who started it, and Randy Bernall and Gary Kendell. They were working as professional dancers as well. And what I mean by that is, we would work as dancers, but we’d teach, too. All of us taught classes in different studios – just teaching our style of dance. And then there was Cristyles, Chris Gatdula, who wasn’t professionally dancing. He was just going to school fulltime. And then me, and I was doing the same thing as Gary and Randy, dancing professionally in L.A.

When we started the crew, we were in different crews at the time. They were in Mindtricks, I was in Culture Shock San Diego with Cristyles. And whenever we’d see each other, we’d just like the way that we danced, and we’d always vibe out with each other. Turned out they wanted to start the crew up, and I guess you could say it was just for fun. We did it mainly because we all wanted to dance together. We were in a lot of different crews before, but we wanted to blend together, make routines together, and see what would happen. And throughout that time, magic started happening. And when Gary, who’s passed away, proposed that we go out for America’s Best Dance Crew, that brought us all together. Because he was an older person. He lived in the Bay Area and always came to San Diego, and he was the bridge that brought us all together.

WW: Prior to America’s Best Dance Crew, did you guys participate in any events or projects where it became clear you were moving beyond it just being a for-fun thing? Where you thought this could really catch on?

RP: It wasn’t really television that brought us out. It was more YouTube. It was something that shocked us, because we started doing these dance showcases at different events in San Diego and the Bay Area, and people started posting our shows on YouTube. It wasn’t even us who were posting them. It was other people. And people were wondering who we were, and just getting into the mysteriousness of what a Jabbawockee was. And when we looked, there were all these JabbaWockeeZ views, over 100,000 views on the majority of our stuff. We were like, “Wow, people are really looking at what we do.” And through that, people started calling us up for different gigs and we’d do different local underground showcases.

And not only that, but people were actually biting what we were doing. And what biting means is, they were copying what we were doing. There were actually groups in the Philippines that were doing routines with our actual music – I don’t know how they got the music; maybe they just dubbed it over from YouTube or whatever. But they were doing our exact routines.

WW: And then they’d post these routines and you’d see them on YouTube?

RP: Yeah. And we had a lot of fans who knew who the actual JabbaWockeeZ were, and they’d tell them, “That’s wack. You guys shouldn’t be doing that.” But at the same time, they were just inspired – so there’s nothing wrong with that. Well, the only thing that’s wrong with that is if you’re saying, “I made up this routine,” when you really didn’t. And then things started happening really quickly last summer. That’s when we heard from a friend of ours named Jon Chu. We didn’t know at the time that he was directing Step Up 2, but he told us one of the big inspirations for making Step Up 2 was the JabbaWockeeZ. We inspired him a lot because of what we did. He was really involved in the dance scene as far as going to different showcases and stuff in San Diego and watching what we do.

So he called us up and wanted us to do the movie, do Step Up 2 – to go out there and dance and do a clip. And through that movie, we started getting a lot more work – doing different industrials and things. And then we found out about America’s Best Dance Crew from a showcase. Every showcase we do, people come up to us, and at this one showcase, one of the casting directors came up to us and said, “We really want you guys to audition for the show.” So we found out what the show was about, and we did it for fun, and didn’t really think how far it would get us. And look where we are now.

WW: Given that it was on MTV and that Randy Jackson was involved, did you realize how much of a launching pad it could be? Or did that take you by surprise?

RP: It took us by surprise in a way. The person who really knew it was going to really do something was our boy Gary. He was the one person who said, “This is going to be a great show.” A lot of us were in the underground scene, and we were thinking to ourselves, “We don’t want the media to make us look bad.” Being in the underground scene as far as hip-hop and hip-hop dancing, you don’t want people to water down what you do. But Gary was like, “As long as we stay in there and hold our ground as far as what we do and show them what we do, they’re not going to water down anything. Because they’re going to love what we do. So we’re going to go in there and do it, and it’s going to be a great opportunity.”

Some of us weren’t going to do it, but the honest truth was, our friend Gary got really sick at the time we were going to do auditions. So were like, “You know what, man? Let’s do this for Gary.” Not realizing what opportunity was going to come from it. It was more, “Let’s do this live audition for Gary and perform to the best of our ability, and if we end up getting it, we get it, and if we don’t, we don’t.” Well, we ended up getting on the live audition show, and we were like, “Let’s do it for Gary.” Every single time, man. Like, “Let’s do it for Gee, man. He really wanted us to do our best.” And it just kept on escalating.

He ended up passing away after the live audition show – when we were going into the show. After that, everything was just for him – not really thinking about the win, but honestly just thinking about doing our best. That’s all we could really do – just think about doing our best, because we were with a bunch of other amazing dancers. It was like, God helped us out, and Gee was with us the whole time, even though he’d passed away. We felt him there a lot, and he helped us get through the show. We were just blessed through that. But there wasn’t an expectation of, if we do this show, we’re going to make millions or get great exposure. It was more about let’s go over here and rip it and have a good show – and do it for Gary. And the experience turned into us performing everywhere in the world, performing around the U.S., doing commercials, music videos. It’s crazy.

WW: Do you think the theatricality that you guys have – the costumes, the masks, the storytelling – was what really connected with the audience?

RP: Yeah, definitely. I definitely think a lot of people in the audience looked at what we did as art. And that’s how we look at ourselves – as artists. Not just as dancers, but the way we put our shows together. And the masks really help to bring out a different side of what we do as dancers. It’s kind of like an alter ego when you put it on. We’re very humble guys, but when we put on the masks, it builds a different character. And I think that’s what a lot of people grasped onto when they saw us perform with the masks on. Like, I’m a really shy person, I really don’t like dancing in front of people, but when I put on the mask, I feel like I can go out there and do whatever I want to do. MySpacers or e-mailers would tell us that. And that’s why we wore the masks and the gloves. It changes you in a way – in a positive way. It helps you to open up.

And also, the way we think when we put together shows. Honestly, a lot of it is based on just goofing off and having fun. Like Kevin or someone will do something funny and we’re like, “Dude, put that in the show!” And the audience grasped on to that. Luckily, they understood what we were doing.

WW: You performed in masks, but there were also scenes on the show where you weren’t in masks. Did people start recognizing you on the street – and did that kind of catch you off-guard?

RP: It really did. When we first started out as the JabbaWockeeZ, we would walk into a venue and would go change somewhere in a spot where nobody was at into our mask and our gloves and everything. And we’d come out for our show and people would look at us, not know who it is – and we’d do the show, rip it, get a standing ovation, the crowd goes crazy, go back to the spot, change, and then we’d be standing next to people who were like, “Oh my gosh! Did you see the JabbaWockeeZ? They were freakin’ amazing!” They’d even talk to us. They’d be like, “Did you see that group with the masks?” It was like Superman, you know? It would be like Superman would go save somebody and then he’d come back as Clark Kent, and people would be like, “Clark, you missed it! Superman was just here!”

I don’t know if you’ve heard of the Lewis Carroll poem “Jabberwocky,” but basically it’s about a mysterious dragon, and knights would try to kill him, and he’d kill the knights and mysteriously vanish, and nobody could really find him. And that was kind of like what we portrayed in hip-hop. We’d go out there, kill the dance floor, and then leave, and nobody would know who we are. But what ended up happening was, they started showing us on TV – they started showing who we were. And at first, we were like, “We don’t want to show our faces.” But it kind of helped things out, because fans who did know us before the show were like, “I finally get to know who you guys really are.” It’s kind of like Kiss (laughs).

WW: So showing your faces didn’t make the masks any less effective onstage?

RP: Oh no. I think it actually helped for people to know the JabbaWockeeZ are normal guys who have fun and goof off – but once we put on the masks, it’s go time. It kind of helped.

WW: On the TV show, there are overhead shots and lots of different camera angles. Is that a problem for the live tour?

RP: To keep it real? I think all the overhead shots and different shots they show on TV kind of takes away from what the actual show could be when it’s actually straight up front. To me, a live show is way better than watching it on TV, because you actually get to feel the action, you get to feel the music, and you get to see it up front and up-close, and see what people are actually doing. A lot of times when you see something on TV, you don’t know if it’s edited or not – if they messed up when they did that and they had to re-do it. But when you see a live show, you get to actually see it for what it’s truly all about. It’s like seeing any singer or artist on tour. Like when you hear a song that’s been recorded, you might like it, but when you see that artist live, you get to see the emotion they put into it.

Everybody always says when you see it live, it’s ten times better. And that’s what this tour is: It’s ten times better than seeing it on TV. Because you get to feel the action everyone is actually putting out. Plus there’s a lot of new numbers, collaborative numbers with all the different crews. So if you’re a big fan, or if you’re not a big fan of America’s Best Dance Crew and what we do, going to this will inspire you to want to dance. Definitely.

WW: Do you guys see yourselves as ambassadors of this style of dancing in terms of popularizing it? And how mainstream would you like it to get? You mentioned earlier how you came from the underground. Do you feel comfortable with the idea of this being on every street corner in America?

RP: You know what? I think it’s cool if it gets mainstreamed. But you’ve got to make sure that people are doing it for the right reasons. People like us who are mentoring it, who are putting it out there, need to do it right, make sure we’re doing it for positive reasons. We need to do it for the reasons we started out doing it. We can’t say we were the first persons who started out mainstreaming it and inspiring people about it, because I got inspired through the [Electric] Boogaloos and the Rock Steady Crew – and at what point, they were very mainstream, too. But back then, a lot of them were younger kids, and they couldn’t really speak their minds about how they felt about the dance and teach the history of the dance. Their managers were the ones who were speaking for them.

That’s something the originators have told me about. When they find out that a lot of dancers are getting more mainstream, Crazy Legs told me, “Make sure you speak about what this dance is truly about. Make sure you let people know about its history, about its positive, about turning a negative into a positive. Let people know it’s not just about dancing to make money.” Because, you know, a lot of us were doing this dead broke (laughs). We were doing it just for love – because we love doing it. A lot of guys even on this tour had fulltime jobs and were dancing after they got off work. That shows you it’s a positive thing, and that’s what we’re trying to push.

FLORIDA. Florida is known for the beautiful beaches. They are ranked as some of the best in the country for accessibility, facilities and beauty and Miami, Florida is #1 Healthiest City by Natural Health Magazine in 2002. Miami is the choice of most of the families, singles and all active travelers. Enjoy the night with the coolest bars in Florida. You can drink all night long. Regular bar goers out there would likely be unfazed with a drink bearing rather cheeky names like FU2. If you want to view these amazing paradise, always watch the CSI: Miami. :) Yeah! PHILIPPINES. If you're a traveller don't missed to visit the Philippines' beautiful, amazing places and very hospitable people. Everywhere you will go, you'll see beaches, different kinds of fruits and a thousand islands. Filipinos are know for being hospitable. English is their second language, except for the fact that Filipinos have hundreds of different languages. This is the place of natural wonders and boasts some of the world's best diving and snorkeling. She hides her lover in the cupboard, not realizing that her little boy is in there already.
The little Boy says: 'Dark in here.'
The Man says: 'Yes, it is.'
Boy: 'I have a soccer ball, do you want to buy it?'
Man: 'No, thanks.'
Boy: 'My dad's outside, I'll call him if you don't buy it!'
Man: 'OK, how much?'

Missing Out CSI: Miami

Who knows this American crime drama television series that trails of a team of Miami-Dade forensic scientists as they unveil the circumstances behind mysterious and unusual deaths and other crimes? You got it right! CSI: MIAMI. Dude they are great. Among the 3 CSIs, this one is my favorite and the cast is perfect especially David Caruso (Hotario Caine). CSI: Miami is the only show in the CS fanchise to have crossed over with both CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: New York.

There are lots of CSI: Miami followers, and thats include me. Though there are times that I missed some episode but I surf the net. But to tell you, I have a friend who is so addicted to this. She buy a DVDs, and stay so late just to watch this show. CSI: Miami is not only for crimes and investigation, it is also talk about family, friends, and lovers. Can you see the cast are are sometimes involved to the crimes or some their families are one the killers ir the victims. Or the cast are inlove with their fellow mates, like Emily Procter and Adam Rodrigues. Hahaha. Just forgot what episode were they kissed. ;). And hey do you remember where David Caruso find out about his son? I've watch it and it's so heart warming episode. I cried a little though.

And now, because I'm kinda busy, I'm so frustrated that I can't see the latest season. The last time I've watch CSI: Miami was last year. My gosh! I'm missing half of my life I know. Is anyone there can update me? Yeah! It's a big help.

Most people get into trouble or heated arguments because of their tendency to take things personally. Your boss dumped a huge pile of documents on your table for processing? You want to complain but you can't do anything its because he is your boss. In your mind you want to curse him, beat 'em, say mean words but it's all in your mind. Let's face it, people who engage in hateful words and thoughts from frustration all had a problem with taking things personally. Emotions are very hard to control especially to those person who are born of anger. It's easy to get angry even in simple ways.

Victim of break ups. Every person encounter this kind of situation. If you break up with your boyfriend, do something productive. Victims of break ups are usually manifest their frustration with their situations by turning to depression. Possible indicators include playing noisy music, over drinking, wearing black clothes with black eyeliner and showing to the people how they hurt and in pain. So, if you are frustrated with your break up, try not to live with your past. Do something that will keep you busy like going out with your friends, learn to cook or bake. It's a simple matter of replacing the object of your frustration with an object that pleases you.

The way he talk. Some man are so tactless, they say whatever they want without thinking that they hurt someones feeling. If your are a gentleman, before you leave a comment or say a word to someone think first. Know if you'll gonna hurt their feelings. You can be frank but you can say it in a nice way.
Misjudge a person. I know this lady who are liberated on how she dress. Lots of people judge her on how she dress. Her personality, her character. But they didn't know that this lady is conservative inside and kinda shy. She is comfortable of the way she dress. And because of that most men think that she is one of the easy girl. That's the one thing I hate. To judge you without knowing you. And say something against you without knowing the truth.
Family background. Yeah! We all know that there are people who judge you when they learned about your family background. Like if your father is a convict or your brother is a hoodlum. When your man know it they take you for granted. Hello! Are you the one who commit the mistake?
Kiss and Tell. I hate this part. Ladies can easily get their trust. That's why you tell him this and you tell him that. You trust him that much 'til you gave him all the information and some secrets and in return some people know know all about you because his big mouth. Duh!!!

Everybody loves Friday. For most of the students they are waiting for this day. And even for the some employed people are so excited for the week ends. It's time for family, friends, rest and of course for fun. A lot of fun and gimiks. I see most of the people at the mall, strolling, watching movies, dining at the food plaza, and shopping. And when the sunset, they're planning to go the bars, have some drinks and 'lil fun. ;)

Like what I did last friday. We hang out with my friends in one of the fancy bar. That day I don't really like to go out. Kinda bored and I just want to stay home. But I have no choice, I don't have to break my promise, I go out and meet them. I thought I gonna feel bored on that place, but when I saw the band performing my mood change. LOL.

Oh well, I'm an RnB fanatic. That time the band are singing Mad by Neyo. They are great. They are a total performer. The band name is Firm Session. When I heared their voice I thought I hear the original artist who sing the songs. And I really like Joe (*blushing cheeks). I thought he is Kris Laurence, but I'm kinda far from him that time. haha. Enough of him. We just enjoy the night and I'm looking forward for their next gig.

And speaking of R&B, I really admire most of the artist of the hip-hop and R&B. They look cool, dashing with all those bling blings and they invaded the music industry. And the Vibe Magazine is my source. These mags features R&B and Hip-Hop music, artist, actors and other entertainers. Founded by Time Inc and Quincy Jones is the founder. Best Band: My Chemical Romance

Kinda boring today. I' m here, working. Yeah! Same routine and as usual. I've finished my task early. I really need to do something so that I can't sleep here in my desk. I get my headset and play the song of one of my fave band, My Chemical Romance.

The band was formed by front man Gerard Way and drummer Matt Pelissier. They witness the plane crash into the World Trade Center influenced Way's life to the extent that he decided to start a band. That's why he wrote the song "Skylines and Turnstiles". And he recruited Ray Toro, and recorded the songs "Our Lady of Sorrows" in Pelisier's attic. The band refers to those sessions as The Attic Demos. And then the brother of Gerald whish is Mikey Way join the band after dropping out of college.

Well, enough of there early career. I want to share with you all my favorite album which is The Black Parade (2006-2007). It features their beginnings, right through to The Black Parade. The band played a special one-off show (August 22, 2006) at the 1800-capacity London Hammersmith Palais. The show sold out in 15 mins. prompting tickets being sold on eBay well over the ticket's face value. On September 11, 2006 on iTunes they released the "Welcome To The Black Parade" and reached number one in October 15, 2006, on the UK Single Chart, giving them their first number one. This album received a lot of awards including the Best Album, Best track, Best Video, Best Live Show and even the band itself get a great awards. Gerard Way receive a Hero of 2006 award, Villain of 2006, and the Sexiest Male (Uhum! \m/).

Of course the temperature and most of all the lack of colours. White snow looks perfect but it looks so monotonous and kinda boring. So to cheer you up guys, I'll give you some important tips on how to choose of what clothes color for the winter.

First, you should be comfortable and it'll give you the positive emotions. The 2009 winter clothes gives you the sophisticated, trendy and very comfortable. I've seen a lot of well know holywood celebrities wearing different kinds of winter clothes. There's the coats, boots, jacket, ski hats, a scarf and a lot more.

Here are some of the best color for the winter. The Black and Grey. I'll ask you. Who doesn't like black? Everybody thus. From emo, elite people and even the mid class person loves to wear a black clothes. It seems to be comfortable, practical, noble and it makes us look leaner. Black garments do not usually become old-fashioned, you can wear them as vintage ones. Grey will make you look trendy too. Brown. Brown is the substitute of black, less formal but adds much luxury to our look. Blue. Though you have to be bold enough to choose this color for your winter wear. Some says that this color is too aggressive, others don't want attention to be focused on them as it is inevitable when you wear red. Orange. For me this is the most positive and the warmest. Fulfill Your Dreams

Do you want your backyard to be your favorite get-a-way? Or do you wish your front yard look so inviting to all your visitors? It was my dream since I was in grade school. I'm so fond of the flowers, plants, fine grass in the front yard and the beautiful landscape of our neighbors. So even in my young mind I promise to myself to take up a course in line of landscaping or designing. So here's come the high school life. Some teens change there interest or likes. But me, I'm still holding to my promise. Even I encounter so many interesting stuff and they've got my curiosity too. So time's goes by, from freshmen, sophomore, junior to senior. It's a tough decision to make. I have to choose what course I'm going to take. And you have to take a exam for the course you want to take to.

So hard! Now my heart is into fashion and something to do with designing. I want to create my own clothing design, what to design my dream house and even a excellent building design. I want to be known as a great designer. But do you know what bothers me the most? The course that's so popular that time is related to computers, you know Computer Science, Computer Engineering, something to do with that. And my parents told me that after I graduate, I can easily get a nice job. How can I protest? They are my parent, they're responsible to my financial problem. So after a long battle in college life, so far I finished my course. And now I'm working.

I'm kinda happy with my job right now but the thing is, there are some part of me that longing to take my fave course which is Interior/Exterior Designing. I'm so frustrated. Even it's not to late to take it, but I prefer to work. A waste of time if I take it? Nah! Maybe I'm just practical. Maybe I can do it on my own way. I can apply it in my present job or even at home.

Lesson to be learn. Follow your heart and keep in mind that no one can tell what's good for you rather than yourself.

Speaking of mountain ski, It's the first year death anniversary of Billy Poole, a professional extreme skier died last year January 22, he suffered after jumping off a cliff while filming in Utah with Warren Miller Entertainment. "He got a bad landing and possible hit some rocks", according to the Salt Lake Tribune reports. Billy jumped a cliff, something he had done many times before but this time he hit a small boulder, he was dead--the first skier to die in the production of a Warren Miller ski film.

Billy Poole, age 28, learned to ski in Montana and skiing in the backcountry of Big Cottonwood Canyon, he was living in Salt Lake City. Billy, who came from a working class background, often drove to competitions. Much less sexy, but no less real, than the film footage of him skiing down rugged terrain is the fact that those shots were possible because he hiked those peaks on foot.

The rest of his family, this larger of Billy can be reassuring at times but also hunting and elusive, Billy has gone and become a legend to his nephews, his presence reduced to photographs and stories and extreme skiing movies.

Transporter 1-3: Which is the Best?

Isn't great that if you have a free time you'll just hang around in your house and watch movies with your friends and family? Though there are times even in your busy schedules you're thinking of watching movies, well to release your stress out. Yeah! Even me, on week days there are times that I'll call my friends and go to a cinema. You can tell that there are days that you feel stressful. Am I right?

The last time I wrote a story about Twilight Addict. I hope you've read it. (*smiling) That's for the hopeless romantic and for the people who love books especially the series one. And now for the action fanatic out there, I have something for you. 2 weeks ago I've seen the movie of Jason Stathams, The Transporter.

I really like this man, so cool, especially on this movie. The Transporter (2002) was excellent. Being Frank Martin (Jason Stathams) is like showing his real personality. Being mysterious and he moves good. After I watch this movies I know that there will be a part two. 'Coz do you know the feeling of being trilled and looking for the next one? That's what I feel. So the Transporter 2 (2005) is fantastic. Again, carrying his BMW car and Frank has been hired as a bodyguard to Jack Billings, son of Jefferson Billings, a rich US official for the US government drug contol organization who is attending a conference with the DEA. And now, my favorite one, the Transporter 3 (2008). More fight scenes and great bombs effects, what can you ask for? Who does'nt know this movies?

Twilight Addict: Are You One Of Us?

Everybody are going gaga with the Twilight movies and books. Who doesn't like the story? Everybody does like it, from teenagers to old ones. Men, women, and even my granny like it. =) I'm not 16 but I feel like I'm a teenager every time I read these books. I know that after you read the Twilight you wanted more. You can call me a Twilight addict. Who cares! I know there's a lot of you who are like me. And you? Yes you! You're reading this because you're thinking if there's new update about the books and the main cast of Twilight right? (LOL).

Actually I write this blog because I want to share what I really feel about the stories. I'm kinda not satisfied you know, especially in the movie. 'Coz I want more. Stephanie Meyer is so good. She made the readers hanging or I must say that being captivated with the Book 1, they are looking forward for the Book 2 which is The New Moon. Guys, the movie is coming this year so seat back and relax, maybe early this November the movie is out.

Are you one of us? A Twilight addict? Do you have a complete set of the book? Have you ever watch the trailers of New Moon, Eclipse and The Breaking Dawn? Or do you have a playlist of the soundtrack of Twilight? Hmmm.... If you are, your are one of us. :)

And except for Twilight books, of course, I also love these books, Portrait of a Killer: Jack the Ripper -- Case Closed by Patricia Cornwell and Fine Things and A Perfect Stranger by Danielle Steel. These is a great books.

Since the new year come, there are lots of fortune tellers and astrologers are predicting the world, the people, especially the famous one. Most of them are celebrities and politicians. I read some article that this one female celebrity will going to die this year. Can you believe that!? How can anyone or anybody tell the faith of such a person. And this politician too. I've heard that one politician that are very controversial right now will die on an ambush. We all know that every year there are lot of politician died because of politics. The rivalry in the politic industry is the worst thing I've ever known. Especially here in the Philippines. Their are lot's of corrupt officials. They are using their position to monopolize the people and the country as well.

2010 are near. So the some of the politicians nowadays are very busy to promote their ads. Yes! Its true. I've seen it in some TV commercials. Some politicians says that it's too early to for a campaign. One of this is the commercial about the OFW who maltreated in other country and one politician help this "poor" worker. Well, for me, if you're going to help someone there's no need to shout it to the world that you help somebody. Heck! If you help someone I know that eventually some people will know it and you don't have to brag it to the public you know.

For sure this year and the coming year, the advertising agency today will have a great time and money because of the advertising and lots of political promotions. Just wait and see.

Nowadays there are so many crimes happening around us. Killing there, robbing here! Some people are afraid to spent their extra time outside their house. Like, after work, their going home instead of having a stroll or spend a good night in a bar. And sometime even in your house you can't tell if your safe. Shopping there. Party tomorrow. I'm so tired! Well its December. A very busy month for me. I have a lot of things to do. A heavy work, well, a lot of load especially today. I also have somethings to do later. Buy gifts, attend party and do some house hold choirs. My God! How can I do it! I'm so stressed!

So its 5 days to go. Christmas day are coming. And I have plenty of time to take a rest and spend time with my family. Christmas for me is a family day. Having a long chit-chat, eating in the living room while watching movies and having fun. I used to work away from my parents place that's why I really find time to spend my free time with them. We usually go shopping. Uhuh! My prepaid credit cards, yes! I always bring it with me, 'coz I always run of cash. haha.

This must be the longest vacation I'll ever have. So happy to see my family, friends and my home town. Spend your holiday wisely. Have a merry Christmas to all!
